To think only a year ago there was much debate in Broncos Country on whether it would be Courtland Sutton or Jerry Jeudy that would finish as a top 10 wide receiver in the NFL while playing on a Super Bowl caliber offense led by Russell Wilson. A year is an eternity in sports.– D.B., watching time flyKiz: Sutton has lost that loving feeling. “I just want to be where I’m wanted and appreciated,’ Sutton tweeted Friday, as trade rumors swirled. With an $18.2 million cap hit for this year looming, Sutton has produced a total of four touchdowns the past two seasons. I also would love adding a center or guard, if general manager George Paton can swing it.Andrew, Tampa, Fla.Kiz: This free-ag...Oakland man shot to death in long-term care facility bed, police say

The Pac-12’s late-season salvage operation appears to have worked as college basketball prepares for the most-anticipated day of the year.During stretches of a decidedly subpar season, the conference looked like it might send just two teams (UCLA and Arizona) to the NCAA Tournament. But solid finishes by USC and Arizona State have improved the outlook for Selection Sunday, with at least one of those teams — and perhaps both — sneaking into the 68-team field. Not that four bids would be a source of pride. But it’s exponentially better than three. Before we dive into the at-large locks and contenders, three reminders about the NCAA selection committee’s process:— Overall record, conference affiliation and conference record are irrelevant.— The committee uses both subjective and objective criteria, with the latter focused on NET ranking, quality wins, bad losses, non-conference strength-of-schedule and performance away from home.— Teams are ...Harvick goes for win No. 10 at Phoenix in final Cup season

AVONDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Kevin Harvick has had a big share of his best Cup moments at Phoenix Raceway. While his dominance in the desert has faded slightly over the past five years, Sunday is one of two more chances to get win No. 10 here and join some elite company before retirement, which the Stewart-Haas Ford driver says will be at the end of the current season.Every time he comes to Arizona, Harvick is reminded how good he’s been since he swept both races at the track 17 years ago. And pretty much every time, he deflects praise. “It feels somewhat arrogant and cocky to look at your own stats, especially when they’re good,” Harvick said. “I’m never going to tell you I’m impressed with anything of my stats, because I always feel like they could be better.”Harvick has won nine times at the 1-mile tri-oval and is seeking to become just the sixth driver in Cup history to win 10 times at one track, an exclusive club that includes Richard Petty, Darrell Waltrip, Jimmie Johnson, Dale...Napoli moves 18 points clear atop Serie A
