AUSTIN (KXAN) – The war between Israel and Hamas has impacted the Israeli community in Central Texas. Rabbi Daniel Septimus, chief executive officer of Shalom Austin, spoke to KXAN about the feelings he and his congregation have right now. "It's just unprecedented what we're seeing happening in Israel. "So, that part is even more challenging and more tragic than what was taking place before where there were attacks on soldiers, and less on civilians. This was a premeditated attack on innocent civilians." "Right now peace should always be on our minds," he added. "We should always be thinking about it, but peace is far away. Right now, we have to find a partner who's willing to make peace, and we do not have a partner currently on ...Person fatally stabbed in St. Paul identified as 37-year-old man

For the past 10 years, since The Source introduced the concept of food halls to Denver, diners have filled them up, looking for the latest ideas from hot chefs or restaurants. Take Meta Asian Kitchen (now called MAKfam), which started at Avanti Food & Beverage before moving out to open a standalone spot, or The Budlong, which drew enormous lines at The Source before expanding in Denver. Currently, Black Box Bakery in Edgewater Public Market has gained a huge following, as has Lunchboxx at Denver Central Market. These days, the 20 or so food halls in metro Denver range in style, vibe and price point, and include Avanti, Edgewater Public Market, Denver Central Market, Zeppelin Station, Stanley Marketplace, Freedom Social, Grange Hall and the Golden Mill. For many, it will be an intolerable strain on the family budget. That is why it is crucial voters are provided with a candid, thorough analysis of all the details. Let’s look beyond advocates’ specious claims that this is only about local property tax relief – with not even enough money thrown in to backfill local government revenue. The facts are far diff...Latest news
